"Weeding" is, of course, when we librarians go through old stuff (in this case videos) and pull the items that are either worn out, not circulating or just plain out of date. Oh, and by the way, shouldn't it be "attempts?" Sheesh.
Last year, a history teacher and I partnered up to teach medieval times to our 6th graders. I focused on the literature aspect, Arthurian legends and such. Our librarian provided us with a shopping bag full of books and videos to supplement our teaching, which we split based on our needs. The history teacher didn't preview one of the videos he had taken, and apparently the 6th grade class got mooned. Whoops!
4 others added their two bits.:
And a colon or a dash after preview. It would also be better if "and he" was replaced with "who" or "that".
Just saying.
Or it could have been "tends" to scare the children...
You guys crack me up.
