So you may or not be aware that My Lovely Bride is a 4th grade teacher. Turns out one of the parents of a student has been reading Teacherninja for a while not realizing that I was her husband. Small world, I know.
And this parent of a student. AND this parent! That last one was even at some of the same Dragon*Con events as I was. How cool is that? They've turned out to be some of my most loyal commentors of late.
Check them out and keep spreading the comments.

Thanks for the nice words over on my brand spankin' new blog. I'm glad I followed you over here and got a chance to check out your site!
Okay, so now you have to remember to be very careful what you say. ;-)
I'm always amazed at what a small world it is, and I think that is especially true for teachers who get to know so many folks.
C.B., Yes indeed. Luckily they are very cool parents and it's been great having them around.
Jenny, I'm sure it'll happen more and more. When I become a media specialist I'd actually LIKE to have a media center-related blog that the students/parents/staff checked up on.
Thanks, guys!
I was hesitant to "out" myself once I made the connection. I've been a little "obsessed" with reading book blogs for a few years. I like being the parent that other parents approach for book recommendations and reviews for their children. I've been sharing books with Michael & Victoria for years.
I'm not even sure how I stumbled upon your blog, but it's been in my favorites list for awhile. And, I hope we don't cause you to censor your comments too much. I enjoy your passion and honesty. And, none of this changes anything about how awesome your wife is at teaching 4th grade!
That is really cool. Another excellent reason for taking time to comment!
klonghall,
No worries! Enjoy all the readers I can get. I hope to have more book reviews once I'm out of grad school. Thanks for reading and commenting!
Jen,
Thanks, to some one I don't comment on enough!
Ha, it's a small world on the internet.
Thanks for the referals. I've been wondering how some of the new commenters on my blog have found me.
Keep the great posts coming.
