Oh, thank you! I went to Smith, and was WISHING I could be there to hear her. How wonderful that there is such a thing as a Pulitzer Prize-winning kindergarten teacher! I hadn't thought to look up her speech, so thanks for the link. (By the way, the year I graduated, it was John Kenneth Galbraith. He was dull, dull, dull, and at one point said something about how we would probably just end up getting married.)
When not performing ninja duties, I am an elementary ESOL teacher and am working on becoming a school librarian. I use my powers to promote reading and critical thinking.
